Board Changes

Artemis Resources Limited (ASX/AIM: ARV) ("Artemis" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the intention to appoint of Mr Jozsef Patarica to the board of Artemis Resource as a non-executive director, subject to AIM market procedures. 

Mr Patarica has extensive experience at senior operational and executive levels in Australia and overseas and has successfully transitioned several resource projects through the development phase and into sustainable operations. Jozsef led the development of the Fosterville Gold Mine in Victoria, now the largest gold producer in Victoria which passed a significant milestone producing over 4Moz gold since commencement of operations.

Artemis Executive Chair Guy Robertson said:

"Jozsef brings valuable technical knowledge and development experience in managing projects which extend from exploration and development through to processing and production. He has been providing consulting services to Artemis for the past two months so is already very familiar with our projects. We look forward to Jozsef providing inputs into preliminary studies of the Carlow gold and copper project in parallel with a drilling campaign designed to scope out potential for resource extensions at Carlow and test other high priority satellite gold targets."

Vivienne Powe

Non-executive director Vivienne Powe has also informed the board she will not seek re-election at the Annual General Meeting in November due to her other work commitments. The board thanks Vivienne for her considerable contribution over the past three years.

 About Jozsef Patarica

Jozsef is a mining executive with over 30 years' experience developing projects in Australia and overseas, successfully transitioning them into sustainable operations. 

Mr Patarica holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical, from Curtin University, a Master of Business Administration, Technology Management, from LaTrobe University, and a Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. 

Mr Patarica was the Chief Executive of Grand Cote Operations, a mineral sands producer in Senegal, West Africa for Minerals Deposits Ltd and managed development of the Fosterville Gold Mine, the largest gold producer in Victoria. He has held several board positions during his career with Australian and overseas companies. He is a Non-Executive Director of Greentech Metals Limited (ASX:GRE) and has held various roles with major private equity funds.

A further announcement will be made once the AIM market due diligence on Mr Patricia is finalised, and his appointment is confirmed.
