ArmorGroup International plc25 January 2007 ArmorGroup International plc Awarded US Embassy contract in Jordan ArmorGroup International plc, the leading international provider of protectivesecurity services, today announces that it has been awarded the contract toprovide guard services to the United States Embassy in Amman, Jordan. Thecontract, which runs for up to five years from early February 2007, is worth upto $10,470,553. The contract was put out to tender following the US Government's analysis of itslocal guard services requirement in an increasingly high threat environment andwas awarded to ArmorGroup's Government Services subsidiary, US Defence Systems.ArmorGroup expects to deploy a substantial team which will include around 190local Jordanian guards and which will work closely with representatives from theUS Government, the diplomatic mission in Amman and the Jordanian authorities.
