Board Appointment

Arc Minerals is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Mumena Mushinge as a non-executive director to its board of directors with immediate effect. Mr Mushinge is the founder of Zamsort Limited ("Zamsort") and has worked throughout his career in the mining industry in Zambia. He has been involved in a number of significant projects with local and international mining groups.

 Nick von Schirnding, Executive Chairman of Arc Minerals commented:

As at the day of this announcement, Mushinge Mumena holds a beneficial interest in 73,937,495 ordinary shares in Arc Minerals, representing approximately 11.69% of the Company's issued share capital.
