Arbuthnot Banking Group PLC22 May 2007 ARBUTHNOT BANKING GROUP PLC AGM STATEMENT The Board of Arbuthnot Banking Group PLC announces that today, 22 May 2007,shareholders approved all resolutions proposed at the Annual General Meeting ofArbuthnot Banking Group PLC and Mr. D.R. Lascelles has retired from the Board. At the Annual General Meeting this afternoon, Henry Angest, Chairman of theCompany, made the following statement on behalf of the Board: "Since the publication of our preliminary results on 20 March 2007 the businesshas continued to make satisfactory progress. All three operating subsidiaries (Arbuthnot Securities, Arbuthnot Latham andSecure Trust) continue to trade in line with expectations and in line withrecent market forecasts.
