AGM Statement

Ivan Martin, Chairman of Aptitude Software Group plc (the "Group"), provides the following trading update in advance of the Annual General Meeting to be held at 9.00 a.m. this morning.

"The Board is pleased to confirm that Aptitude Software continues to make strategic and operational progress.

Aptitude Software has built on the new business wins achieved in the final quarter of 2020 with further successes in the opening months of the current year. These successes include a significant sale of both the Aptitude Accounting Hub and the Aptitude Insurance Calculation Engine to a European insurer and a number of multi-year contracts for the growing Solution Management Services offering. The three market drivers of strategic compliance, finance automation and finance transformation in the cloud have contributed to these successes and the strengthening of the Group's new business pipeline in the year to date.

The Board looks forward to the remainder of 2021 with confidence and continues to anticipate a financial outcome at least consistent with 2020. With a focused portfolio of product and service offerings, an established SaaS capability, increasing worldwide presence and a strengthening partner network the Board is confident the Group is well-positioned to fully realise the significant opportunity ahead."
