Application for Block Listing

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock Exchange for a block listing totalling 775,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company. These shares will be allotted and issued in due course upon the exercise of options pursuant to the Company's obligations under the 1997 Executive Share Option Scheme, 1999 Executive Share Option Scheme and the 1996 Savings Related Share Option Scheme.
These shares will rank equally with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.
