Grant of Options

Advanced Power Components plc (AIM: PLC), a specialist distributor and manufacturers' representative of electronic components and smart, energy saving products, announces that Mr Will David, Non-Executive Director & Chairman, and Mr Ian Davidson, Non-Executive Director, have today both been granted options over a further 75,000 ordinary shares of the Company. These options were granted outside the Company's Employee Share Option Scheme.

The options are exercisable (in whole or in part) at any time up to the tenth anniversary of the date of grant and are exercisable at a price of 10.00p per ordinary share, being the closing share price as at 20 September 2012, the latest practicable date prior to the date of grant.

As previously disclosed, Mr David holds 50,000 ordinary shares in the Company in addition to the 100,000 options over ordinary shares following this grant. Mr Davidson holds 100,000 options over ordinary shares following this grant.
