Similarly, headline earnings per ordinary share for the yearending 31 December 2006 are expected to be between 180% and 200% higher than theheadline earnings per ordinary share of 1 828,1 cents for the year ended 31December 2005. The expected increase is primarily as a result of higher rand prices of metalssold and increased sales volumes and assumes that rand metal prices remain atcurrent levels during the remainder of 2006.
