The parties advised at the time of the announcements that they expected theproposed transactions to be concluded by the end of the calendar year 2007. Due to the complexity of the proposed transactions the parties advise that it isunlikely that the confirmatory due diligence and detailed transaction agreementswill be completed in time to convene the requisite Mvela Resources and Northamshareholders meetings before the December 2007 holiday period. Accordingly, theparties now advise that the circulars to Mvela Resources and Northamshareholders are likely to be posted to shareholders during January 2008.
