DECLARATION OF PREFERENCE DIVIDEND: NUMBER 9

Notice is hereby given that a dividend of 320 cents per convertible perpetual cumulative preference share ("preference share") has been declared in respect of the period 1 June to 30 November 2008 and is payable to holders of preference shares recorded in the preference share register of the Company at the close of business on the record date, Friday, 28 November 2008. The last day to trade in order to receive the preference dividend is Friday, 21 November 2008.

The salient dates for the preference dividend are as follows:

Last day to trade cum dividend Friday, 21 November

Shares trade ex dividend Monday, 24 November

Record date for preference dividend Friday, 28 November

Payment date of preference dividend Monday, 1 December

No preference share certificates may be dematerialised or rematerialised and no conversion of preference shares into ordinary shares will be permitted during the period Monday, 24 November to Friday, 28 November 2008, both dates inclusive.
