Anpario, the independent manufacturer of natural sustainable animal feed additives for health, nutrition and biosecurity is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Wilson as Group Finance Director with effect from 1 July 2021.

Following Karen Prior's request to relinquish the role of Group Finance Director a succession planning exercise was undertaken during 2020. The Nomination Committee unanimously approved the selection of Marc Wilson as Group Finance Director and recommended his appointment to the Board with effect from 1 July 2021. Karen will remain as an Executive Director of the Group responsible for Corporate Social Responsibility and as Company Secretary.

Marc has been part of Anpario's multi-faceted internal development programme and has worked closely with Karen and the Board on matters of strategic finance for the Group in recent years.

Marc is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and currently Group Management Accountant as part of the Executive Management team for Anpario. Marc joined Anpario in 2010 and his responsibilities have included the development and rollout of Anpario's global ERP system and the accounting and integration of acquisitions during this time. He is currently Director of several UK and International subsidiaries of the Group.

Karen has been a dedicated and professional colleague since joining the Board in 2009 and will continue to work closely with Marc to ensure a smooth transition of his role. We welcome Marc to the Board and Karen's new role gives further strength to the Executive team and our focus on ESG matters."

Marc Wilson currently holds 9,676 existing ordinary shares in Anpario, representing approximately 0.04% of the issued share capital of the Company. Marc also has options for a further 20,000 ordinary shares under the Joint Share Ownership Plan (the "JSOP" scheme) and 5,577 ordinary shares under The Anpario SAYE Share Option Scheme 2013.
