 Exercise of Options and Issue of Equity

Angus Energy plc. ("Angus Energy" or the "Company") announces that it has issued and allotted 1,000,000 new Ordinary Shares of £0.002 each (the "Ordinary Shares") in the Company following receipt of an exercise notice in respect of 1,000,000 Broker Warrants issued at Admission at an exercise price of 6p per warrant.

Application is being made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM with admission to take place on or around 16 January 2017. The new ordinary Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares in Angus Energy.

Total Voting Rights

Following the issue of the new Ordinary Shares, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue with voting rights is 215,980,287. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
