Sierra Leone Diamond Company Ld12 January 2007 For Immediate Release 12 January 2007 Sierra Leone Diamond Company Limited ("SLDC" or the "Company") Additional Listing Sierra Leone Diamond Company Limited,(AIM:SLD), the diamond company with licenceinterests wholly focused in the country of Sierra Leone announces that 55,000New Ordinary Shares of US$0.01 each (the 'New Ordinary Shares') have been issuedand allotted on 12 January 2007 pursuant to a contractual obligation to awardshares by way of bonus following achievement of performance targets.Subsequent to the issue of these shares SLDC will have 130,058,241 shares inissue.Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to tradingand these will rank pari passu with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares.Dealings on AIM are expected to commence 17 January 2007.
