African Minerals Limited (AIM:AMI), the mineral explorationΒ and developmentΒ company withΒ significantΒ iron ore and base metalΒ interests in Sierra Leone, West Africa,Β confirms that it is inΒ advancedΒ discussions withΒ Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation plc (LSE: ENRC)Β andΒ several large industrial corporations in Asia,Β which could involve an offer for the Company orΒ the funding of the development ofΒ itsΒ world-class iron oreΒ assetΒ at Tonkolili.
There is no certaintyΒ at this stage, however,Β that discussions will lead to a corporate transaction. Further announcements will be made in due course, as appropriate.
