Board Appointment
The Directors of Altitude Group plc, the promotional merchandise and marketing solutions group, are pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Vivienne Margaret Blumfield (aged 55) as an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 September 2010.
Until recently, Vivienne was the Managing Director of the Dowlis Promotional Product division, a position she held for the previous four years. In her new role, Vivienne will take on wider responsibilities for the development of the Group including building further on partnership opportunities.
Vivienne's previous experience includes more than nine years as Managing Director at The Regency Collection Limited, the assets of which were acquired by the Dowlis Group Ltd in 2004.
Vivienne has not held any other previous directorships and currently holds no interest in the share capital of the Company.
There are no further disclosures under Rule 17, Schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
Commenting on Vivienne's appointment Colin Cooke, Chairman said:
"The Company is delighted that Vivienne is joining the main board. She has substantial relevant experience that will help us to further develop our business and help execute the many opportunities that we have ahead of us."
