Manpower Software PLC17 August 2007 MANPOWER SOFTWARE PLC ("the Company") NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES The Company has received notification today that, on 15 August 2007, GartmoreInvestment Limited acquired 361,011 ordinary shares of 5p ("Ordinary Shares") inthe Company. As a result: Gartmore Fund Mangers Limited now holds 3,514,524 Ordinary Shares, representing7.89% of the Company's issued share capital; Gartmore Investment Limited holds 3,377,205 Ordinary Shares, representing 7.58%of the Company's issued share capital. The combined Gartmore holding is therefore 6,891,729 Ordinary Shares,representing 15.47% of the Company's issued share capital.
