ALLOCATE SOFTWARE PLC

Board Appointment

Allocate Software plc (AIM: ALL), the leading provider of workforce and compliance optimisation solutions, announces that it has appointed Richard King as a Non-Executive Director, who will join the board with effect from 1 January 2011.

Mr King (54) has worked with Ernst & Young since 1975, where he is currently Deputy Managing Partner, Ernst & Young, UK and Ireland with specific responsibility for D&I, Service Quality to major accounts and the partner alumni programme. In this role Mr King led the successful integration of the UK and Ireland businesses to create a £1 billion practice. Prior to this he had responsibility for the Ernst & Young offices outside London and in Ireland, with 4,000 employees in 28 offices.

He is also the Chairman of The Willow Foundation, a national charity established by Arsenal legend, Bob Wilson, which provides special days for seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds.

There is no further information in connection with the appointment of Mr King to the Board of Directors which is required to be disclosed in accordance with Rule 17 and Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
