CHANGE OF BOOK CLOSURE PERIOD FOR THE 2011 FINAL DIVIDENDS

Reference is made to the announcement of Air China Limited (the "Company") dated 16 April 2012 in relation to the closure of register of members and further information on the proposed payment of the 2011 Final Dividends (the "Announcement"). Unless otherwise indicated, capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement.

The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") wishes to announce that the book closure period for determining entitlement to the 2011 Final Dividends as originally scheduled from Saturday, 16 June 2012 to Thursday, 21 June 2012 (both dates inclusive) is now re-scheduled to Friday, 29 June 2012 to Wednesday, 4 July 2012 (both dates inclusive). The rescheduling is arranged in view of the book closure period for the extraordinary general meeting of the Company to be held on 26 June 2012 from Saturday, 26 May 2012 to Tuesday, 26 June 2012 (both dates inclusive) as announced by the Company on 8 May 2012.

In order to be entitled to receive the 2011 Final Dividends (if approved by the shareholders at the forthcoming annual general meeting of the Company), all transfers of H shares of the Company accompanied by the relevant share certificates and appropriate transfer forms must be lodged with the Company's H shares registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited at Shops 1712-1716, 17/F., Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong not later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, 28 June 2012. The 2011 Final Dividends will be paid to shareholders whose names appear on the register of members of the Company at the close of business on Wednesday, 4 July 2012.
