Statement Regarding James Halstead plc

The Board of Airea notes the announcement made by James Halstead plc ("James Halstead") that it does not intend to make an offer for Airea.

The initial approach from James Halstead was unsolicited and the discussions between the two parties did not reach agreement on potential terms for any offer.

As noted in Airea's final results announcement on 21 March 2018, the significant changes made to the group and the increased investment in a successful commercial flooring business provide significant opportunities for growth and we look forward with confidence to delivering value for shareholders as an independent company.

This announcement has been made by Airea without the agreement or approval of James Halstead.
