Director Appointment

Action Hotels (AIM: AHCG), a leading owner, developer and asset manager of branded three and four star hotels in the Middle East and Australia, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rawaf Bourisli to the Executive Board as Development Director with immediate effect.

Mr Bourisli, a fluent English and Arabic speaker is a qualified architect and expert in the field of mixed use and mid class development and brings over 10 years of professional experience in design, project management and real estate development throughout the Middle East. In 2007 he was appointed General Manager of Action Real Estate Company (AREC), a leading real estate company based in Kuwait focused on development, advisory project management and overseeing the execution of projects, design and construction. Prior to this Mr Bourisli was Chairman of the Integrated International Group Kuwait, a service provider of logistics, heavy lifting, engineering and equipment to the MENA region. Earlier in his career Mr Bourisli was the PMC Manager of Kuwait Dynamics Ltd, a project management and construction company registered with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Planning.

Mr Bourisli has a BSc in Architecture from Oklahoma State University where he was was awarded the Iron Design Certificate. He is a serving member of the Kuwait Society of Engineers and is a regular speaker on budget & mid-market hotel developments in the Middle East.

Commenting on the appointment Alain Debare, Chief Executive of Action Hotels, said; "Rawaf brings to the executive board invaluable experience in real estate design, development and execution along with his Arabic speaking and a vast working knowledge of the Middle East. Action Hotels has a development program of 8 hotels throughout the Middle East and strengthening our executive board with Rawaf's skill set allows us to continue to quickly evaluate and determine the validity of expanding our stated pipeline."

Rawaf Bourisli, aged 37, is interested in 2,620,046 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company, representing 1.77 per cent. of the issued share capital.
