Director Appointment
Amiad, the producer and global supplier of water filters and filtration systems for the industrial, municipal and irrigation markets, announces further to the resolution passed at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday 28 July 2010, the appointment of Mr. Amos Shalev as a new non-executive director with immediate effect.
Mr. Shalev, aged 67, currently serves as a director of Bermad Industries A.C.S. Limited, the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute and Evron-Tamam Recycling Limited Partnership. Previously, he has served on the board of directors of Miluot regional cooperative and Arkal Filtration Systems A.C.S. Ltd.
Tal Yeshua, Chairman of Amiad, said: "We are delighted to welcome Mr. Shalev to the Board of Amiad. As we begin the next stage of our development, we look forward to benefitting from his expertise, experience and contribution to the Company."
There are no other matters required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph (g) of schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
