News Release October 10, 2006 Endemol recruiting Fotothing bloggers for ITV1 programme - citizen journalists sought for ITV's 2006 news review - Users of photo blogging site Fotothing are getting the opportunity to have theirpictures shown on prime time television. Endemol UK, one of the largest independent producers in Britain and the companybehind shows such as Big Brother, Restoration and Deal or No Deal, is workingwith Fotothing (www.fotothing.com) to produce "I was there: the people's reviewof 2006," an ITV1 programme which will showcase the news events of 2006 from theperspective of the citizen journalist. Endemol is looking for photos and video footage that capture anything reportedin the UK press this year; from the World Cup to the recent coup into Thailand. For the chance to have their photos included in this ITV news review, buddingcitizen journalists should register (free) on Fotothing and then select the edit/upload option from the left hand menu to add their pictures to the site.
