Aminex notes yesterday's announcement from Scirocco Energy plc ("Scirocco") announcing the successful exercise by ARA Petroleum Tanzania Limited ("APT") of its pre-emption rights to purchase Scirocco's 25% interest in the Ruvuma PSA by the entering into of binding agreements between Scirocco and APT.

The Company is delighted that the operator of Ruvuma, APT, wishes to increase its participating interest in the Ruvuma PSA, confirming Aminex and APT's confidence in the quality and value of the Ruvuma asset.
