Final dividend - determination of U$ Dollar equivalent and Dividend Reinvestment Plan

Further to the announcement released on 24 April 2018 by Anglo-Eastern Plantations Plc, the Company proposes to pay a final dividend of 4.0cts per share in respect of the year ended 31 December 2017 (2016: 3.8cts equivalent). Subject to the approval by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting, the final dividend will be paid on 13 July 2018 to those shareholders on the register on 8 June 2018.

In addition, the Company announced that shareholders can choose to receive dividends in Pounds Sterling and they can do so at the rate ruling on 8 June 2018, being the dividend record date. Based on the exchange rate at 18 April 2018 of $1.42/£, the proposed dividend would be equivalent to 2.8p (2016: 3.0p). The last day to elect to receive or revoke a currency election is 18 June 2018.

The Company operates a dividend re-investment plan ("DRIP"). Holders of shares may elect to reinvest their final dividend*. The latest election date is 18 June 2018.
