Final dividend - determination of U$ Dollar equivalent and Dividend Reinvestment Plan

Further to the announcement released on 26 April 2017 by Anglo Eastern Plantations, the Company proposes to pay a final dividend of 3.0p per share in respect of the year ended 31 December 2016 (2015: 1.75p). Subject to the approval by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting, the final dividend will be paid on 14 July 2017 to those shareholders on the register on 9 June 2017.

In addition, the Company announced that shareholders can choose to receive dividends in US Dollar and they can do so at the rate ruling on 9 June 2017, being the dividend record date. Based on the exchange rate at 19 April 2017 of $1.2811/£, the proposed dividend would be equivalent to 3.8cts (2015: 2.5 cents). The last day to elect to receive or revoke a currency election is 19 June 2017.

The Company operates a dividend re-investment plan ("DRIP"). Holders of shares may elect to reinvest their final dividend*. The latest election date is 19 June 2017.
