Buckland Group PLC01 August 2005 BUCKLAND GROUP PLC ('Buckland' or 'the Group') AGM Statement Following completion of all outstanding orders, the Group's loss-makingsubsidiary, Euro Asia Connectors Co Ltd, has now ceased production and itsremaining workforce was made redundant on 22 July. Whilst it will take severalmonths to close out its assets and liabilities, satisfactory progress has beenmade so far in this process. Derlite's manufacturing operations in Bangkok have continued to operate normallyduring the closure of EAC and plans are now at an advantage stage for the phasedtransfer of DK Gas' manufacturing operations from the UK to Thailand.
