Pan Pacific Aggregates PLC ("the Company")

Total Voting Rights

In conformity with Disclosure and Transparency Rule ("DTR") 5.6.1, the Company hereby notifies the market that, as at the date of this announcement, its share capital consists of 236,287,847 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each with equal voting rights. Pan Pacific Aggregates PLC holds no ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 236,287,847.

The above figure (236,287,847) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's DTRs.

Shareholders should note, however, that application has been made for the admission of a further 52,300,000 ordinary shares to trading on 6 August 2008, following which the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 288,587,847.
