DawMed Systems PLC12 February 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 12 February 2007 Dawmed Systems PLC ("Dawmed" or "the Company") BOARD APPOINTMENT Dawmed is pleased to announce that Mark Adamson is appointed to the Board asGroup Finance Director with immediate effect following the resignation from thatposition of Barry Dale on the same date, whose outside business interestsprecluded him from accepting the full time role. Mr Adamson, 44, a Chartered Accountant who has been a Justice of the Peace since1994, was Group Finance Director of Traction Group Limited, from August 1997 toApril 2006 and from 1997 to 2006 of the following subsidiary and relatedcompanies of Traction Group Limited: the Yorkshire Traction Company Limited,Lincolnshire Road Car Company Limited, Andrews (Sheffield) Limited, The Barnsley& District Traction Company Limited, Kingsman Services Limited, YorkshireTerrier Limited, Lincoln City Transport Limited, The Yorkshire Traction Company(Trustee) Limited and The Yorkshire Traction Group (LLCS) Limited. Mr Adamson holds no shares in the Company and there is no further information tobe disclosed under Schedule 2 (g) (iii)-(iv) under the AIM Rules. Barry Dale, who has been Dawmed's part time Group Finance Director for over nineyears, has played an important part in the progress that the Group has made overthat period and will continue to support the Group as an executive directoruntil 31st March 2007.
