Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC27 May 2005 ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC "the Company" The Company announces that it has today received notice, pursuant to S.324 Companies Act 1985, from Mr. Charles Lancaster Nicolson, a Director of the Company, relating to the following transactions in Ordinary 4p shares of the Company:- Date Sold Purchased Price Comments per share 25 May 2005 4,640 £1.10 Registered in the name of C L Nicolson 25 May 2005 4,640 £1.105 Purchased through Self Invested Personal Pension Scheme - Registered in the name of Pershing Keen Nominees Limited - KKXSM026 A/C Following the above transactions Mr. Nicolson's beneficial interest in theCompany's shares remains unchanged at 880,698 Ordinary 4p shares, which isequivalent to 1.91% of the Company's issued share capital. In addition Mr. Nicolson is a director of Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited,the Trustee of the Albemarle & Bond Pawnbrokers Employees Benefit Trust which holds 387,250 Ordinary 4p shares in the Company. Aggregating personalholdings and the holding of the Trustee, Mr. Nicolson is considered to be interested in 1,267,948 Ordinary 4p shares, which is equivalent to 2.75% of the Company's issued share capital.
