Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC04 February 2005 ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC "the Company" Changes in Directors of Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited ("the Trustee") as theTrustee of the Albemarle & Bond Pawnbrokers Limited Employee Benefit Trust ("the ESOP") The ESOP was established for the purpose of facilitating the holding of sharesin the Company by or for the benefit of bona fide employees or former employeesof the Company and its Subsidiaries. Following the resignation of Mr Philip Patrick Murphy as a director of theTrustee and the appointment of Mr David Phillip Pattinson the Finance Directorof the Company as a director of the Trustee on 3 February 2005; • Mr. Philip Patrick Murphy is no longer regarded as interested in shares held by the Trustee and his beneficial interest in the Company's shares is 1,121,000 Ordinary 4p shares, which is equivalent to 2.43% of the Company's issued share capital. • Each of the following Directors of the Company, as a potential beneficiary of the ESOP is regarded as interested in 454,250 Ordinary 4p shares, in the capital of the Company, as Trustee of the ESOP. Their interest in the shares held by the Trustee is equivalent to 0.98% of the Company's issued share capital.
