Intended Retirement of Home Group Chief Executive, Mark Henderson

After 18 years with the organisation, the Chief Executive of Home Group, Mark Henderson, has shared his intention to retire. The Home Group Board are about to launch a recruitment campaign to find a new Chief Executive. The expectation is that Mark will work a significant notice period to enable a smooth and seamless transition to his successor. There is no immediate change to the Home Group Executive team or to its day-to-day leadership and governance arrangements.

Home Group is marking its 90-year anniversary this year, a milestone that reflects its long history of service to customers and communities. Mark remains fully in post and focused on leading the organisation while a successor is appointed, with an appointment expected to take place later this year.

The organisation continues to perform strongly and remains focused on delivering its strategy, supporting customers, and investing in homes and communities.
