Home Group Executive Team Changes

Home Group today announces some changes within its Executive Team:

· John Hudson has resigned from his position as Chief Financial Officer to take up a position outside of the sector. John will leave in summer 2022 having served as Chief Financial Officer for six years.

· A new Executive position of Executive Director of Building Safety has been created. Joe Cook will take on this role having served as Executive Director of Development of Home Group since 2019.

Home Group is now commencing recruitment exercises for the positions of Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Development and expect to attract high calibre applicants for each role.

Mark Henderson, Home Group Chief Executive, commented:

"After six years, John has decided that the time is right for a change. I am grateful to John for his leadership of the CFO directorate in his time with us. He leaves us in a strong financial position with a wider investor and funder base. We have also seen significant improvements in our systems and processes that have enhanced the way we work during John's tenure which have contributed to our efficiency goals. We wish John every success in his future plans."

In relation to Joe Cook's appointment to the new Executive position of Executive Director of Building Safety, Mark added:

"Building safety is very much a strategic priority for us and we believe this merits dedicated Executive focus. This is a significant step for us. As an experienced member of the Executive Team, and with a strong background in building construction, Joe will bring much to the role and make sure that we continue to place customer and colleague safety at the very centre of our plans."
