UPDATE ON RESULTS PUBLICATION DATE IN RELATION TO £250,000,000 2.500% GUARANTEED BOND DUE 2024 ("THE BOND")
Go-Ahead announces that the Company has been advised by its auditors, Deloitte, that additional time is needed to finalise the audit process and procedures in connection with the Company's audited financial statements for the year ended 3 July 2022 (the "FY22 Results"). Accordingly, the FY22 Results will not be published before 2 January 2023, which is the latest date permitted for publication of the FY22 Results under Listing Rule 17.3.4(2).
As a result, and after consultation with the Financial Conduct Authority (the "FCA"), the Company anticipates that listing of the Bond on the Official List of the FCA will be temporarily suspended with effect from 7.30 a.m. on 3 January 2022 until publication of the FY22 Results. Application will be made to the FCA requesting suspension of listing of the Bond in due course.
The Company continues to work closely with Deloitte in connection with the FY22 Results so that they can be published as soon as practicable. This is currently expected to be by the end of January 2023.
