3i Infrastructure Ltd12 April 2007 The Board of 3i Infrastructure Limited notes today's announcement by 3i Groupplc and India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited ('IIFCL') of a strategicpartnership dedicated to investing in infrastructure assets in India. Under the terms of the advisory agreement between 3i Infrastructure Limited and3i Investments plc this arrangement will result in 3i Infrastructure Limitedbeing offered the right to invest in the funds that are set up to implement thispartnership. Peter Sedgwick, Chairman of 3i Infrastructure Limited, stated: "An importantpart of 3i Infrastructure Limited's strategy, as set out in the recentProspectus, is to invest in Asian infrastructure. This partnership willgenerate attractive opportunities to enable the Company to meet this objective."
