I have never posted on LSE before but have decided that I need to make my opinion known on the current discussion.

For clarity, I have held FRR since 2012 and am in the shareholder group.

I totally disagree with sending the letter at this time and fail to see why there is such urgency to send it now though I am fully aware that there are those with agendas here who would wish the company to fail.

Looed I have, in the past, appreciated your research and the translations but I feel that you are misguided in this instance. You have, of course, every right to do what you wish with your investment but if, in the process, that impinges on other people’s investments you need to tread very carefully. You have absolutely no right to jeopardise my investment.

The paragraph about some shareholders not supporting the action of sending the letter is merely a sop as the damage is already done in the first paragraphs. The fact that it has appeared on this BB does not make it official in the way that actually sending it would

To say that the election will not make a difference is, in my opinion, short-sighted. We cannot know what will happen and what the effect on FRR may be.

So Looed, I do hope that you will reconsider your action and postpone it until the end of October.

I am in the wait til the elections camp.

I wouldn't do what SR suggests out of principle - he has an agenda.

However, I appreciate all the efforts and ideas from Looed.

Also, if Zaza is truthful about the 2 from 14 result - BIG IF - then what kind of information could he have presented to change these results.
a) Pay your tax
b) give back the unworked areas as per PSA

a) the discussion about this would involve VAT offset - irrevalent say panel - ok we'll pay up
b) this would involve - you've made it too hard for us to work those areas - panel makes a 'sorry FRR' judgement

If it was clear the other 12 would be rejected - why should he present anything?

Zaza - We can not do this today because the problems, the obstacles, the contradictions that we have with the government, do not allow us to increase the volume of work and increase gas extraction. When the government violates all the terms of the contract, it gives no confidence to either the company, or the investor, or the investment banks, with which we have been working for years, to give us additional capital and money to expand the work here. Today, if the government tells us that it is ready to play constructively, in 6 months we will be able to resume drilling new wells, which means that in 1 year from now, we will be able to start extracting natural gas from new wells.

Negotiating from the GG side, they must know that the very least acceptable would be the sunk costs. Even though they dispute them, it's 300m dollars... 2 cents a share.
