Many translations, dealing with money, finding and dealing with translator, cutting & pasting etc. Onerous amount of time.
Thanks VERY much.
Lots of this translation has been quite difficult reading but this bit is about as subtle as a brick
Zaza - We can not do this today because the problems, the obstacles, the contradictions that we have with the government, do not allow us to increase the volume of work and increase gas extraction. When the government violates all the terms of the contract, it gives no confidence to either the company, or the investor, or the investment banks, with which we have been working for years, to give us additional capital and money to expand the work here. Today, if the government tells us that it is ready to play constructively, in 6 months we will be able to resume drilling new wells, which means that in 1 year from now, we will be able to start extracting natural gas from new wells.
Thanks again
Connection is a bit naff where I am but no doubt you will be pleased to hear that all my birthday wishes have been granted. INCLUDING BEER FRIDGE.
What a great early birthday present - still think the beer fridge might be tricky.
Thanks to Domfok for sleuthing.
Yep soon be my birthday.
Birthday list includes
Beer fridge
3 d t shirts
Golf balls
And of course no expropriation of frr assets
I can see that one of these is tricky
Zeps we've never met but I've read all the posts since 2013 and read many of yours. I know you have had other issues too but this is terrible news - I cannot express my sadness for you and your family - I'm lost for words.
No - just dropping my daughter off at the Morrison's next door for a night shift.
Absolute pandemonium - but sadly someone got hit with a bottle and is quite bad.
Drinking - IT'S NOT BIG AND IT'S NOT CLEVER
Massive fight in my local tonight - glad I'm teetotal - well teetotalish
Best wishes RR
Isn't the deal the one agreed last Autumn with $20B oil major 1 & $23B oil major 2 ?
Or is that deal scrapped because only the 1% in on the table?
Sorry Looed we will need to buy more than one table? Especially as in coronavirus days we cannot share them!
GLA LTH and my sincere thanks to those sleuth and share for all.
Negotiating from the GG side, they must know that the very least acceptable would be the sunk costs. Even though they dispute them, it's 300m dollars... 2 cents a share.
I'm off to bed to count chickens to help me sleep.
I seem to have sent the bb off on an interesting tangent.
What I meant was.....
If the termination is enacted how does it work?
How not if?
Repeat
HOW NOT IF?
Good spot Matt
How does it work?
i.e. GOGC - "Thanks for the 1/2 billion, forgot to doff your cap, now F off"
Or
The Party terminating the PSA should meet the reasonable costs of the other - or some such legalise
Thanks SR
But what I meant was how the termination was implemented
Has anyone posted this? Recently?
Can anyone post it please?
Despite the fact that without the hundreds of millions spent there would have been nothing to arbitrate about.
Just wondering if we'd all have been so generous if Looeds transcripts had revealed there was no chance of a return.
I don't think that the transcripts themselves have been dissected with the usual enthusiasm.
Great work Billy and thanks again Looed.
Didn't we do this using Just Giving last time and it was organised by someone Puddy knows but I don't think he's here anymore.
There are a couple of things that could prevent such a rip off.
SN comes from oil nobility and would not want to be associated with such a travesty.
ZZ is a proud Georgian and probably feels the same.
Why involve US senators when the plan is to rip off everyone?
However it is always easier to cope with many people who despise you when you have a couple of million in the bank.
Quite quiet today. Calm before the storm?
