Adam - GGP joined the GDXJ (global index covering precious metals). To do so, their algo's had to buy millions of shares in GGP. Consequently, the stock went ballistic reaching a high of around 37p.
Prior to this, it was wave running on sentiment, so the momentum was there before the index came knocking.
After christmas, the MM's woke up and realised it was just a dream and in reality nothing had changed. GGP was just another junior explorer with presumed gold in the ground waiting to be dug out...nothing confirmed but looked reasonable. So sentiment drifted away from GGP as the market went looking for the next 'fix'. And so we lost momentum and the stock settled into its eventual and current channel of 17p plus or minus.....

Hi TT. I said I wasn't coming back until tomoz, but there is a lull in the action here for the next hour or so, so here goes.
My roadmap lists all salient netry/exit points along the journey but is too long winded to respond to your request for dates etc, so I will add my 10 penneth worth, if it makes any difference.....

Of course it is open to criticism because others know more than me......

19/8 - 11 days from now - NCM yearly results. Usually interesting reading giving food for thought and invariably a boost to morale for the troops here. Lots of froth will be spilled but the SP won't move much if at all.
August/September this year there should/may be an 'Indicated' MRE. Chester in his post @ 1418 hit the nail on the head. It will be based on the MMRE from last year and added to from a better grade point of view with possibly a very small increase in the original 4.2Moz. The purpose of this announcement is to prepare the market for the PFS and future proofing the resource. IMO this will push the SP north by 'x' amount.
On 9/9/21 - NCM Interim followed by an RNS by GGP - again a good morale booster, rarely an SP mover but occasionally if some spectacular news is included, market sentiment could change and lift the SP a little.
Again in September this year, the PFS is supposed to come out. IMO it will be later (possibly October or even Nov). You know what the purpose is of the PFS, don't you, so I won't insult your intelligence. IMO this will push the SP north by 'y' amount.
Lenz post @ 1330 today seems perfectly reasonable and achievable.
In Dec 21, the MRE (inferred) comes out. This encapsulates much of the 65Km of drilling ongoing since January (especially growth drilling).
IMO this will put a rocket under the SP to the value of 'z'.

Let's leave it there time wise for now, unless you want more from next year!!!

Suffice to say that over the next 16 weeks, ... x + y + z will show the SP to be a multiple of what it is now. I believe in technical terms its called a "multibagger"!

Firstly, thanks to this mornings posters for supporting my theory/appreciation of what's to come, as I need the roadmap to be as accurate as possible...thank you.

There is no smoke without fire and over the last few months I have read and heard the following:
Several brokers (buried in their reports) mention 11Moz, 12.5Moz, in passing.
Bamps fairly recent post from a few days ago briefly touched on 12Moz in his deliberations. Hydrogen.......starts @ 12Moz and works up from there god bless him!
Conversely I have been told off on this board for mentioning 11+ Moz when it comes to the next inferred (MRE2) december presentation (no names!).
I think this december's MRE(inferred) really is going to pleasantly surprise everyone everywhere. I might even go as far as to use the words: "Shock and Ore"!

Bamps thanks for your response. We have briefly chatted offline about these calcs but I am still not clear what is what! (Not difficult I know).
My interpretation (supported by what SD said in the last link I posted, when he spoke @ 1:30 (ish) about adding ounces to the resource(s), is:
The MRE(indicated) will come out first (before the PFS. It will be based on the MMRE(inferred) last year of 4.2Moz (SE crescent and adjacent breccia zones) but enhanced because of subsequent infill drilling. The "indicated" MRE therefore won't show up anything other than the SE crescent and associated breccias.
I would expect increased grades BUT only (if any) marginal volume increase. IE: the 4.2Moz may creep up a alittle perhaps.
The "inferred MRE which is expected in Dec 21, will capture the SE crescent, adjacent breccias AND the Northern breccia zones too due to growth drilling and this will most definitely reflect volume increase (as SD states @ 1:40 in the vid link I sent previously).
So, in summary:
MRE first, indicated and no massive change to 4.2Moz.
PFS next reflecting the MRE indicated (no sig change to volume).
Finally (this year) the MRE, inferred showing a major change to volume.

Novice - Again, apologies...I am and I was. It's not so much the share that is depressing me, it most definitely is.... this bb has degenerated (years ago) into a pit of snipers and vitreol (caused by a handful of sad people) which no longer makes investing in this stock, enjoyable. I will be pulling the plug as soon as possible, so that I can eradicate this blot on my financial landscape.
If anyone out there can do anything to push the SP to 40p+........now is your time to get rid of me.

Further to Bamps post @ 20:29:
The MRE(Indicated) which should appear before the PFS should reflect much the same resource as the original 4.2Moz inferred in 2020. Maybe a little bit more.
The Inferred MRE in December of 2021 will capture additionally the N breccia etc due to ongoing growth drilling. This almost certainly will add more Oz to the 4.2Moz. How much more...this is the $64M question.

additional bigger MRE.
PFS
DFS
Production.
These are the incremental steps needed to shift the SP.

Good find DBW - thanks. Makes for more positive reading. I sincerely hope that Lasso can find support behind his plans and that he manages to assuage the indigenous anti - mining groups, sufficiently to allow the likes of Solg to make major inroads to building these mines. However, I am still seriously concerned about hints that Tandayama might become an Open Pit mine!!

Lunch Money clarified it a little, explaining this had always been the case (as of 2008). He also referenced the source. This document is cumbersome to say the least, so I wrote to Fawzi and he responded immediately and kindly, with the following loud and clear clarification:
"....This statement comes directly from Article 408 of Ecuador’s existing Constitution, this has not changed. Profits to the state will be the combination of all royalties and taxes paid and these are currently:
Royalty on sales of up to 5% for copper and up to 8% for gold/silver
Labour profit sharing tax of 15%
Corporate tax of 25%

Which makes for a much better understanding and appreciation of the issue.

Overall, I would say we are still progressing (albeit slowly!).

TT - absolutely, why would he leave? He has 100m shares and will almost certainly be made for life, so the only reason for leaving is if GGP p*ss him off. No major could afford him after this. So, yes, if Callum goes, I hope I have enough time to pull the plug too!!!

Afternoon Tiggerman, hope this finds you well.
On the subject of takeover(s)....I too believe it is early days to think about removing GGP from the show! But medium term, say 5 years or so, possibly sooner - NCM will want to remove their insignificant 'other half' (or should I say remaining quarter) simply because they are "in the way"!
I am watching Solg become a shape shifter from explorer and developer to 'miner'. It appears to be a most tortuous route which involves bloating the BoD, a mass of bureaucracy and a not insignificant amount of money.
IF GGP want to become proper miners (not cling to the coat tails of a major), PI's will need a lot of patience and possible further equity dilution.......
I can only think of one who successfully transformed (Fortescue Metals - Twiggy).

SD has always stated that the PFS will be based on 4.2Moz. There 'may' be a fractional uplift but nothing life changing.
Secondly, the 65Km of drilling was forecast to end as of June. They failed to reach this target as of june, achieving only 26Km, they then updated their stance by declaring the remainder will roll fwd into 2022.
Thirdly, they have already stated previously that their target for 2022, regarding drilling, is: 70 - 85Km @ Hav alone.
