It's important not to lose perspective. I'm invested in MOG for the long term and this episode is resulting in a change in the sp of 2 or 3 pence. The sp is going to rise ny many tens if not hundreds of pence over the next year or two

When you use terms like Screwed and It Will Have a Great Impact on the Share Price I think you're overstating the impact. Sure it doesn't reflect well on either the MOG or LGO board of directors. I don't think the sp will fall much further. It already has over the past 2 weeks. In my opinion LGO's case will be thrown out although I think that MOG's board should have done the right thing and farmed LGO into the deal.

It could transpire that MOG have done nothing improper according to the law. Then both parties just need to move on. It still reflects badly on MOG although there is another school of thought that says it reflects well from a hard nosed business point of view. Survival of the fittest and all that.

But unlikely. I don't think this dispute will drag on for much longer. Should get some clarification over coming week.

Im sure the timing had nothing to do with the email I sent to MOG earlier today but either way MOG are refuting LGO's claims. As a member on the LGO chat said "Fight On" Hw this will reflect on the share price is anybody's guess

I just wanted to make them aware, as i'm sure they are anyway, that this is damaging their reputation. If it's all fine and above board why don't they communicate to the market that they've done nothing wrong. It makes me think that they have made an error of judgement and we, the investors, are paying the price for that error. Like you say though, it's small fry and a good opportunity for a top up. An RNS would, like you say, provide reassurance and stop the sp from eroding further.

I've just sent an email to MOG voicing my displeasure at the way this has been handled. I don't expect a response as they didn't reply to my last email.

Under what cirmumstances would MOG be screwed? As I see it under worst case scenario they have to give back 10% to LGO and that still leaves them with 15% and this is just one of their many assets.

The share price may have slid back to pre Genel news due to challenge from Leni but keep in mind that they only held a 10% stake and this farm in is only one part of MOG's portfolio. The matter should be resolved one way or another fairly quickly then we can move onwards and upwards. Seems like a good time to buy in.

Now that most of the Genel gain has been wiped out on the retrace I think we're near the bottom. Time for another spike up methinks.

The silence from MOG over the matter either means that their lawyers are busy or they're talking with Leni (and Genel) to reach an amicable compromise. I suspect the latter but only time will tell.

Most of the small investors who were turned over by SOLO a week or two ago would agree with you wholeheartedly. What goes around comes around. Notice how the share price has held up nicely after yesterday's big rise and how it's dropped not one iota on LENI's attempt to rescue something from a situation of their own making. MOG BOD are a shrewd bunch which is why I'm fully invested here.

Seems like LENI arent too happy now they've realised that they've given away a valuable asset for $1. I didn't hear them complaining before the Genel farm in was announced. It's just sour grapes and their veiled threat should be treated with the contempt it deserves.

Great Summary. It explains why this is a company with a great future. Well worth taking 19 minutes to watch the presentation as a reminder why you'd be crazy to bottle it and sell your shares if the price dips a few % (although i'm not complaining as i'm buying them) I'm absolutely certain that very soon you won't be able to buy these shares for love nor money.

IMO the saying Pennywise, Pound Foolish applies. Also, regarding yesterday's comment about waiting for sub 10p - why would you want to risk investing in a falling share price anyway. It's called catching a falling knife as you can never be sure of where the true bottom is. Better to recognise that the company is currently grossly undervalued, invest and be patient. Rome wasn't built in a day but try telling day traders that lol

Just looking back at 2011 announcements 30 September 2011 — 30 September 2011 - Unaudited Interim Results for the six month period ending 30 June so I reckon it will be at end Sept. Share price retracing a little, to be expected, but this share price increase of 20% is nothing compared to what it's going to be by year end. Wait for a lower entry point at your peril.
