I couldn't find much of use. IMO Ombrina Mare is dead in the water as far as MOG is concerned. They just won't get the paperwork signed while Italy is being governed by a circus. The best they can do is pursue legal action while defending their position against LGO and develop the Malta asset. That's why the sp is where it is.

It's a ridiculous situation but unfortunately italian politicians dicking about are costing us money. It would have been better for them just to have said you can't do it and let the company concentrate on its other assets instead of saying "We're going to let you do it" then later on sitting on their hands and doing nothing. This has nothing to do with whats right or wrong for the Italian people but what's right to safeguard some bureacrats jobs for the next few years.

You're spot on. My advice to any Newbie would be to avoid Aim listed shares like the plague. Unless you happen to be very lucky you're probably going to lose money. Trying to protect yourself with lots of research and diversifying your portfolio just protects you from losing a big chunk in a single go. Instead it's death by a thousand cuts. I'm starting to think that Aim investment should only be open to institutional investors as small private investors just get fleeced at every turn.

Looks like its got something to do with it but the statement isn't clear to the likes of me. As for the sp movement that's anybody's guess. As you well know Aim defies common sense and logic (well for someone with my average ability anyway)

Can I have my dinner money back? I thought that MOG could be 40% down and LGO 40% up today but seems claims by LGO posters about MOG being taken to the cleaners are a bit premature.

I know. Even though its not a good result for me it's only temporary. I'm happy to sit on these for 5 years if need be. Hopefully you and the other LGOers make some money out of the situation. I am tempted to be in both camps and should have been even just to hedge.

Crack me up. Even though I'm invested in MOG I hope that both parties get what they deserve. This is just a small part of a much bigger game for both parties.
