Sell,
Maybe he wont buy just yet given when a CEO buys it sends a clear message. He could be waiting until things are settled and more positive updates are released and Newmont and NCM are sorted also when some of the other sites are proving positive. There has been talk of GGP buying back the 70 percent and Telfor, again if that happens along with the dual listing we may see him buy then. He's also building an expert team and they won't come over on a whim. IMHO

If they did decide not to mine there are major cost implication to decommissioning Telfor. Figures bantered about have been between .5 and 1 B dollars. Newmont or NCM depending if the sale doesn't through shareholders may not like the costs involved.
It seems to me given where we are at. We've had the good news being gold was found and we have a JV. The mine is being constructed and drilling continues in other areas. It was inevitable there would be games played shorting etc along with a drop in the SP. I doubt many of us thought to this extent though. Given the investment GGP has acquired a return is required by said organisations that have invested, so is it possible that if SD were to release an update saying a new find has been made would the SP rise then do the same by falling back until production commences? Hence is it a case of, gold found, JV sorted, mine preparation started, investors on board, then production and in between time the SP goes into a state of flux whilst we wait for it to all come together? If so the question is how low will the SP go and what are the risks associated with that retrace? I hope SD isn't just playing lip service as he tries to work out a plan, but in fact does have a sound plan and a little more patience is required.

It seems everywhere is a mess at the moment which doesn't help.

Just think if you did own a car with someone else's name on the logbook how many speed cameras could you go through?
Just some light hearted banter. :-)
Interesting points on Shorter's and rights being discussed.

Code, I like your post. We've been provided with a good update and its clear that its stage one meaning there's more to come. The rise of the SP will not be liniar because we are not in production. We have a processing plant that's operational we're digging down to the gold NCM are putting road and transportation structure in place. The one thing both NCM and GGP cannot give us is patients, they can only ask. We've had no negativity maybe not as much each as some would hope but we are getting there, not too slowly but steadily.

Sage, it seems the SP is now showing some stability at last. I still maintain the main issue in not Griffin but China itself that is the route cause. I also feel that dividends may attract smaller private investors but not the institutions give they are still very risk adverse not towards Griffin but China. Finally the social, economic and political fallout from Covid is still to hit the markets methinks. Having said that as you have said on the other noe de-funked BB Griffin is a good company and there's still good money to be made by investing.

I like it it:-). I'm hoping we should start to see a lift here once the drilling results start to come through. Also looking forward to a good September as we get closer to things happening. Re the other site he's on his own now, at last! I shall be posting on the new site but just letting it settle first. Zoo
Bab, I too have been in a similar position I questioned everything. It didn't make me popular but I was trusted. The problem we have is that the share price dropped on or around the Scallywag drilling results GH stepping down meaning there is too much that we don't know and there's a lot more to this I'm sure ? Time will tell.
