MTR hasnt been the place to be since consolidation 18 months ago. its been stagnant as far as SP value infact, it is 15% below what it was 18 months ago, pre consolidation.

ive been in this share so long....... Andrew P was a minor, not a miner. Rocks were only just being formed. im gonna put this in my back pocket and walk away, come back in 12 months and see if m surprised, angry......... or just disappointed ....

I tried several times to open a fiat wallet and put money in... it gets returned, so i cant go any further by trying to buy other coins and then use them to purchase coalculus....

i see all of the licences awarded in the north sea and i know what is being actively looked into, for the most part. I also know where we are not looking, for various reasons. so, i disagree with your assumption that spare capacity will be exhausted within the next year.

I dont think i agree with you about spare capacity becoming exhausted within the next year. the north sea has plenty of oil. we just havnt started drilling for it all yet. and there is also the fields west of shetland. the mirror image of the canadian grand banks.
UK is of course a net importer of gas and we have been for some years now. we even buy electricity from norway now. potentially in the future, we might be buying from north africa, unless we get our national act together.

When i say plastics, there are a multitude of materials that come under the term 'plastics', that i could, or rater should have said as insulators and water proofers. i agree with you regarding non recyclable plastics. i also have also spent a considerable amount of my life at sea and the amount of fishing next made from man made firbres that are lying around is also another source of... man made issues.

I hope so too. seriously i do.
i dont want to go back to the days of horse drawn carts and limited travel, or anything ridiculous. But we do need to think outside the oil and gas box. we need to innovate, we need alternatives.

Renewable energy is only a small part. in the great scheme of things, once we have stopped using fossil fuels for energy...we need to find other materials, other resources, that we can use for everything else.

the end of the oil and gas industry , our reliance on fossil fuels will come to an end, hopefully, sooner rather than later.

That still doesnt (in the immediate term) give us options for using other materials.

we moved out of the stone age when we moved to the iron age. which was energy intensive, in the form of coal to make heat to smelt iron ore, tin and copper.... some would argue that since then, we have been in an energy intensive era, irrespective of what you call it.

I live on this planet too. i have the same desires for a clean, fossil fuel free environment. i am an engineer employed in the oil and gas industry, have been for years. if i stand on the beach outside my house, i can see hinkley point being built about 7 miles away. its green , its renewable. i dont mind it. we have wind turbines and the M5 corridor is filled with solar panels in fields. its great. i get it.

we can change the landscape, we can really drive away from fossil fuels.... but as i said, its everything else we use!

With this company, with this share, this stock, isnt the company itself. The company has great potential, great assets.
the problem, is global sentiment against Oil and Gas, by people who genuinely believe that everything will be solved by hydrogen and renewable energies. It wont.

EVEN IF, every vehicle (plane, boat, truck, van, car, motorbike) was powered by electricity or hydrogen and even if every house or office was heated or cooled by air or ground heat pumps.....
Even if this all happened in the next 2 years, globally...over night..... by magic wand..... wishfull thinking, an act of some benevolent deity.....

WE WOULD STILL NEED OIL.....

Tarmac, tyres, rubber insulation, make ups, hair gels, paint, greases, lubricants, manufacturing materials, plastics, waterproof materials, absolutely everything we do, we eat, we wear, we use for transport, we clean ourselves with, we use medicinally, absolutely everything, is touched by the oil and gas industry.

People just dont realise.

seems like both of his mates rates have been good for the company but bad for the mates. so, at least we know that no one will be selling below 22p and his first mates rates at 30p, well, they need to 2 bag from here just to break even.
