im just over 95% down on this wonderful share.....

Not a great company to invest in..... cant afford to sell up. this will no doubt get diluted further, over the coming months. utter garbage of a share. glad i didnt put the house on it, but sorry for anyone in the same boat as me as a percentage of investment.

the thing is, we are raising 3 million from a market cap of 13 million, so a little under 25%..... not good. this is only going one way. and thats south, fast. IMO

That if you buy in now, you stand a very good chance of doubling your money at these prices. Just my opinion and just voicing it.

The drilling campaign in South Africa has been positive. The current modelling will assist in evaluating the commerciality of what we have; but note that our work has identified other anomalies likely to be blows, some of which are bigger than anything we have to date. The Marsfontein mine within kilometres of our blows was so rich in diamonds that the capital investment was paid back in 4.5 days.

When i was a kid (8 or 9) gonna show my age now.. we didnt use plastic bags. you went down to the corner shop, or to your local fruit and veg or grocery shop and you bough your potatoes from a bag of spuds covered in dirt and put them into a brown paper bag. same with a quarter lb of sweets, into a white paper bag. you ate your fish and chips out of newspaper, not from a polystyrene carton with your fingers, not a cheap plastic spoon. we had pop delivered and the glass bottles collected the next week, same with milk, in real glass bottles that were re-used. bread was wrapped in paper, so was cheese, as was bacon, infact all meats from the butcher were wrapped in slightly greasy paper. I dont remember anyone from my generation, not understanding that meat came from slaughtering an animal or that oranges didnt come from this country, or that all vegetables and fruit were seasonal. we didnt require our apples to be perfectly homogenously sealed in plastic. we, my generation didnt require this. we didnt have sell by or use by dates on plastic wrapped chilled goods, or require somebody to make us a sandwich at an over priced shop or a burger between two slices of sweet bread buns. we, my generation didnt live like this. its not my generation that required bottled water, from a 5 thousand year old ice flow thats is given a use by date.

we actually dont need so much plastic.... we never really did....did we?

we dont need to dump plastics in the sea, or anywhere else for that matter.
did you see the state of the field after glastonbury, after grethe had been to bristol, after the temporary lockdown and people went out into hyde park.... PEOPLE are the problem, not plastic. people need educating.

The world, or the politicians, or both, are being driven by climate change and are pushing against oil and gas production for use as fossil fuels.... and i agree with them. Im an oil engineer, have been for donkeys, but i agree. we do need to remove our reliance from fossil fuels as a form of energy...

that said, the oil industry isnt just about burning gas and oil for fuel. they have so much more to offer. Plastics, lubricants, greases, paints, tarmac, rubber, polythene, chemical derivatives, insulators, water proofers, make up, hair gels, industrial cleaners, medical chemicals, the list is almost endless as to how the oil and gas industry impacts every strand of everyones lives on a daily basis.
So fine, lets find alternative energy, but that doesnt mean the end of the oil industry ! IMO

Yeah but Degsie, didnt we have a massive stake holding in BCN only a couple of years ago with huge amounts of lithium concentrate potential and we virtually ditched all those shares due to a board room argument between BCN and Kieren?

The need for Lithium hasnt changed dramatically since then, or the need for cobalt, or whatever battery anode/cathode material you decide is currently in vogue.

i just still, to this day dont understand why we went from a Rare earth metals (REM) type company to basically...an iron ore company.

sounds like some poor souls are going to be ripped off at some point because of their belief in an all seeing deity. the only people that a church serves...is the church itself. It makes nothing, i grows nothing, it produces nothing and yet it gets rich enough to invest in a gold mine...... (however small that investment might be).... Blessed are the cheese makers, for they shall inherit the earth. Whats so special about the cheese makers? well, obviously it doesnt mean cheese makers themselves, it refers to all manufacturers of dairy products......

I agree. he might just aswell have an agreement with my dead dogs dad. Hi JPW- Im a consultant oil engineer, working from home mostly, but for a norwgian oil and gas company. I have been playing the AIM market for some years now. Some success, some failures, but thats par for the course. I am fortunate enough to be in receipt of 2 pensions, thanks to my time in the military. although, i am no where near pensionable age yet. i have 5 other pensions, plus a norwegian state old age pension eventually. all i need to do is live long enough. I buy more of these shares as and when i can afford. i was thinking that maybe i should cash in two of my small frozen pensions, one worth 2.8 k and one worth 18.1k and invest them here in BOD!.

JPWrighty...if you could afford just another 6400 quids worth of shares ..... you would own 0.5% of the company.... pretty cool, 1/200th of the company. i think that sounds cool anyway.
