Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Surely a virtual meeting should've been held. Shareholder engagement is important. Any views.
Good point munchbox, Woodford a good example too. At moment a risk between money running out in a few years or a deal being done. I'm thinking a deal will be done.
FPM was taken over after 12 years of being founded. Dont know what the initial capital was and how many fund raises were needed. Guessing those in at the beginning did ok. Definitely a hold for the long term with more share additions required.
The more this consolidates in a tight range the more I'm confident this will rocket when it closes above the recent highs. Gas prices ticking up but need to increase a lot to make a meaningful impact. Sold most of my SQZ shares as there business 80% gas too but hedging a lot better than Enwell. Board here need to get wise. Decided to hold these because company far too cheap at current share price.
The real prize will be successful phase 3 trial results for Lupozor in US due to begin later this year. Once trial underway the newsflow will be relentless and this will easily go over 150p prior to announcing results of trial. If successful then double that easily. Patience will be required next 12 months. Rewards huge.
NewKOTB For info, figures below used
Q1 and Q2 2020 - 320,000 therms/day hedged
Q3 only 80, 000 therms/day hedged
Q4 only 140,000 therms/day hedged.
Q1 21 185,000 therms/day hedged.
Gas prices at historic lows
Thanks for the advise NewKotb, much appreciated.
Just checked website:
"The Group uses derivative financial instruments, such as forward commodity contracts,
to hedge its commodity price risks"
Currently the natural gas prices on these contracts are significantly lower than currents ones.
Decided to derisk holding and sell majority. Will reasess when gas prices recover. GLA
Read all the posts below. Interesting that previous board have good track record. Only issue is that there are many companies looking at acquisitions and others already with production and operator licences in place could be in a better position. The longer the first acquisition takes, the more current cash will decrease and with it the ability to buy production. AGM will be interesting.
There was a nice uptick in natural gas prices last week, should see this rise very soon to at least 25p. SQZ has been immune to low gas prices due to their hedging. ENW need to get wiser if they are to deliver shareholder value in future. Hold for me.
Does anybody know what split is JKX in gas and oil?
Just checked, I can buy at 1.85p with my broker. No need to go through placing or primarybid. Now I've calmed down could buy some more.
Feel sorry for those that bought today. Will sell mine at first opportunity dont like the way management conduct themselves. GLA
