in all likelihood Colin will bluster that AST has done everything needed and will sound extremely pained . Does he have any idea what ARSO want to do next?

depends on the RNS and whats involved with the EIA. If lots of additional work and studies are required then its gonna be bad. If, as Colin claims, a considerable body of environmental studies and work has accumulated and a consent can still be issued after some clarification, then its good buy.

So ARSO decided to issue the IPPC permit on the 15th of April, knowing that an EIA and consent is required for the wells. As the article says the processing plant is not viable without increased production.

Geoenergio and AST appeal to the Environment Ministry, which apparently agrees with ARSO. As people have said a lot of work on EIA has been done already. Is it just a matter of issuing a permit or fresh investigations are required.

both the RE option and the Phosphate option need mining rights. Hopefully the US gov will lobby SA to issue those rights if its strategically significant for them. The US can be pretty heavy handed when need be

California is an "early adopter" freewheeling state. Its noteworthy the RNS identifies that creating the legal model was as important as financing . All those skills and attitude are available in California

:lol: we shall see. A tech company can be valued in billions becasue it can scale very fast. This RNS demonstrates a growth model for BE. California is important, and has the will and drive to be an adopter of VRFBs in scale. And most importantly the money .

agreed nobody would hire Colin on his track record and he is maxing out here at AST. But in a perverse way thats an incentive to see AST through. His career is hanging by a thread. Does he want to go back to being Colin from Accounts on 32k / year?

Apples and Oranges. You need to compare AST with a similar company facing government approval difficulties. Try getting a mining approval in Sweden for instance (BEM). Many companies would have folded by now, its just that AST has got a couple of wells producing that allows it to continue and keep that hope flickering

But I agree that Colin is overpaid , becasue there doesnt seem to be much for him to do
