"One additional well (C-30) will be deepened until November 2019"
already a month behind .
sea7; thats a good point about the credit rating but its now depending increasingly on the results of C30. Good production means you can service a debt , its as simple as that
in short with the funding secured, can we hire a decent operations **director** and let him or her got in with it. IMO micro managing from the top is a source of our operation difficulties
kelly drive vs top drive is just another example
a top drive is also not new technology and has been kicking around since the 1980s. Plus they have a hydraulic top drive with 100s of metres of hoses . Why couldn't they go for electric? Easier to shift around for one. Plug and Play. They have to spend time checking for leaks and making sure there is no contamination especially in that environment
the placings are at rock bottom prices becasue of poor operational performance. Imagine if C37 was flowing 3-4 months ago, an entirely plausible scenario
FWIW, in my experience, gaming your company around potential tax credits etc doesnt really work . The business has to be viable in the first place. Sure there are a number of fly by night VAT operators on my high street but thats what they are
Unless you are Amazon or Apple of course , who can hire the best accountants in the business and have the complexity to shake off most national tax jurisdictions. But Amazon is still a very good business
definite 400k sale at 2.65
this is just drifting
everything in Norway is offshore . There are no apparent onshore assets
I know but this gives her an opportunity to virtue signal at Norway
good to see some reasoned thinking on it but I fear the stated reason by AC is for real :
"This is in keeping with our stated strategy of targeting additional brown field sites as we look to enhance our portfolio of producing assets. "
He is going to bid and utilise those tax credits at some point in the future. Hopefully this time next year, not now. But I seriously thought Norway was divesting from oil . Does Greta know about this ? Maybe not
sea7 the bottom feeder :-)
Hope it is the bottom
I wish I had taken a different strategy to this share
is that a buy or sell? >its listed as a buy but the price dips
for this tax credits thing to work you need to offset some taxable income
its like a loss in capital gains tax being offset against taxable gains. You need gains otherwise its pointless
this company with no income will need some to realise its tax credits . That means investment
why do you need to buy a company with no turnover to do that?
cause he is like that. He is not an engineer
I dont think ZEN is going offshore- even AC knows his limitations .
cause it means fund raising for those potential acquisitions, in Canada or wherever. Unless AZ reaches 1000 bopd ….
Mud,
"Its primary activities have been in heavy oils in Alberta, Canada"
compass: I think AC is a better wheeler dealer corporate man than a technically minded Oily
agreed - he does give off the impression that Az has become a spiders web for him . Which is why it should be delegated
,"as well as for potential participation in future licensing bids organised by the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. "
I thought Norway was going to phase out oil exploration and be a moral lesson to all of us. Or atleast I read something like that in the Guardian
