Concrete pour completed on the 25 of October (tweeted). The base should be ready by the 24th of November, maybe a few days earlier. They are just shifting some stuff over

concrete pouring and curing is on the critical path. There is not really much you can do in the meantime. Maybe as Ezhik suggested they can start dragging the rig over with those Ladas. Good to see money being well spent

Using this rig as method of deepening these wells is certainly a laborious job - the logistics and time taken in shifting and setting up are immense. I dont know what alternatives there are

It hopefully looks like they have already started on preparing well m-347 civil works, so thats a bit of forward planning for a change

well if you look at the twitter timeline 3 weeks have passed since the last bit of concreting . Maybe they are waiting for that to cure but who is to say .

it depends on what you are using it for . They have used a lot of rebar in that base that means its under quite a high load.

Concrete reaches 70% compressive strength in 7 days and maximum hardening takes 28 days. A domestic concrete floor can be used with a few days

where does curing take 5 days ? That concreting will take 28 days to cure. I thought this was already done. That base needs maximum compressive strength that concrete provides and there isnt really anyway way to make it go faster.

there is gas and oil there but if it cant be recovered then it has an academic value only . Plenty of places in the world like that
