The link wasn't helpful. Any link to an offsite source genarally is going to raise some flags, though that is still in the thread. Might be the level of B*****it within the thread (not you original post) but that which the posts attract. A lot of flies on CERP genarally. Thank heavens for the filter function.
"This provided the Company with the knowledge and confidence to widen to the 17 ½" hole size and set 13 5/8" casing, which would allow future testing of ENCOUNTERED OIL ZONES on a successful completion of the well."
I'm betting the wider hole size isn't for Santa or his little helpers. Santa doesn't like getting his outfit oily.
Looking forwar to the results on Saffron18 Dec 2019 16:17
Looking forward to the results on Saffron and our man Koot does not spend money unwisely. He can hardly contain himself recently so I think we can safely assume there is good news to come, just how big that news will be is the only unkown but all looking very promising indeed I'd say.
"I would stress again that the Company remains committed to finding the lowest cost options for appraising and developing its assets and looks forward to updating the market as to the results of the Saffron well in due course." LK
I expect news by 13th Dec but could run into the following week and I'm ok with that. It could of course come sooner, perhaps the week starting the 9th. In the meantime the sp will be walked down and there will likely be a big tree shake just before news. We're not seeing this yet. GLA
Second week of December for news. There's hardly any point in having an RNS before the assessment is carried out. That takes a couple of weeks or more. I don't personally need a 'we hit total depth' message, I can wait for the fuller picture.
Smart strategic move having Tony Hawkins as CEO. He's a very shrewd negotiator with great experience in SWP and legal matters, just what you need when big players come sniffing around your yard. We're in good hands.
Saffron all set to go and looking at the site photo on twitter, they seem to be expecting something a little bigger than current wells. A couple of days or so in oil terms is nothing at all. If it is to you, this sector is not for you.
