It certainty puts in to question the "sum of the parts is greater".... analogy as LOOPUP bought a company for approx £50M/60M and the now combined market Cap is £40M........... that is not a lot of synergy and added value.......... Things will improve as LOOP are learning the hard way how to please shareholders...... B

Agreed Ian B.......... I did say to Steve that they could/should have decoupled the outlook in to a standalone announcement as we already know the 2020 results as he reaffirmed then in the last TU in Feb..................

Numis obviously failed to deliver on something as it doesn't sound as though the termination was by mutual agreement.

I had a few e mail exchanges with Steve F this morning making it very clear that I was not impressed with the delay. Key points in his response:

the preliminary results will include a statement on outlook and full update on Cloud Telephony commercial traction progress [whatever that means]

Grant Thornton was not concluded in time yesterday and this is incredibly frustrating he said [tell us about it!]

this is nothing to do with "real world trading or cash"

He specifically mentioned that they have terminated their relationship with Numis, even though I never mentioned it....

So we wait.......B

Well our shorters seem to have had a crystal ball .... seems LOOP can create their own banana skins......... I think this has lower to go CHRI55......... very disappointed here as LOOP appear to be showing themselves up as just as accident prone as some worthy AIM dogs......... For a professional outfit, this is very unprofessional................. and Steve F stated that his personal wealth is tied up in LOOP shares, so the pain of the SP must be felt on occasion by him and his fellow share owners.....B

so why not announce yesterday as they must have known late last week they would miss the date.... after all, it has been in the calendar for "a year", so it is odd that they have these issues, which normally they attribute to COVID as most have done with delayed Finals.......... this is very strange, especially as LOOP knew they were on the naughty step from the TU in Nov.......... B

Researcher it is important because it has to be done in accordance with accounting practices I expect............I like the idea that something big is going on........ but it will give me no comfort today..............B

Absolute shambles............. I would expect any talk of takeover is nonsense as LOOP would have to have told the Market if anyone has shown an interest............B

UT not on our side again, 80p in my book!. Let’s hope for a good day tomorrow. IanB has provided sufficient evidence to suggest that this should rise but I know we are all slightly nervous as to what the update will be and more importantly how the market will react. Good luck loopers. B

Crazy...you are correct, however in the last RNS, LOOP stated:

"More detail will be provided when the Group announces its preliminary FY2020 results on 23 March
2021."

If for whatever reason the 23rd was off, they would need to send out another RNS to amend the above statement..... As the above statement doesnt leave room for doubt, ie "anticipate, expect, might, if we feel like it"......... then unless a RNS comes out Monday, then Tuesday is the day.................

This is on the face of it a good niche company and the simple explanation is the BoD have not been able to convince the market this is a growth stock.... YOY it has grown but last year the TU suggested that growth had slowed at a time when LOOP should have taken advantage of the move to Home working and growth should have accelerated......... It did try to explain only a small amount of its business had been impacted, but any positives were lost in the fact it could not forecast next years growth and provided an ARR of £34M instead..... LOOP suggest it takes 6-8 months to close deals and therefore the update next week should provide some idea of progress against that £80M plus pipeline.....I see no reason why there cannot be lots of news on successes next week.......and thus that lift this stock needs....... B

tommy, for a fuller picture you need to go to the beginning of the conspiracy theory....Nov 27th/28th when 30M shares where traded in 2 sessions. Now add that to your existing count and that suggests almost double the free float has been traded....... without a single TR1 to show for it............... B

Good note JTD............ This stock does not appear to conform to the standard "massive drop" and slow recovery as the market wakes up and smells the coffee, in part because the BoD have not assisted in that recovery plan. I think at the heart of the matter is what happened late Nov and who holds what.... The only clue we have is the 2 Instys holding 1% shorts since the 27th Nov......... They have not budged. IanB has provided lots of compelling reasons why this stock is undervalued and compared to many AIM shares should be many multiples higher based upon its Balance Sheet alone. However this is AIM and the wild west.so anything goes............. I like many remain half full on this one and really do hope that the update next week clarifies many things regarding outlook......... if it doesnt or if there is too much jam, then I will reassess my position. Never get emotional with a share... something stew needs to learn.................B
