Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
There may not be any current operations to apply resources to very soon. Tema is going and so might Freetown… nothing else is over the line… B
At least you tried Bolton…… I am sure when Pete leaves his cave the RNS that follows will be a corker… it will try and convince us that all is well and his strategy is working… the sp will spike back to tuppence and then will slip back as reality dawns….. happens year after year… B
I do email Pete often… he stopped replying years ago… that’s the problem with Pete, he cannot accept failure and the last time I pointed out his lack of success he wrote me a very long list of his “ achievements “… starting with…. ( drum roll)…. Iran!…. In his eyes it was a great achievement to have nearly won a big contract… now most might see the flaw in his logic…. But for those who “ nearly win” the lottery each week, you might empathise with his approach to success.
It goes to explain why he doesn’t deliver anything, because on his mind that bit doesn’t matter… so Iran, ferries, drc, Liberia are all successes and achievements…..
So… for those who believe you need to actually win contracts and deliver them and earn a profit… this stock might not be for you….B
10% down today…. Tick tock…… only 1.4p to go . B
You ok master b?
Sp keeps drifting down….A penny back in sight…..wonder if Pete making snowmen this morning….. needs something to keep him busy as we haven’t heard a peep about new contracts for getting on 5 months….. new terminal open in SL ( yippee)… but not a word from Pete…. Come on Pete.. wakey wakey…..B
Morning Aiming….waiting for an uninspiring RNS from Pete saying “ we note the new terminal is open”……
Many questions unanswered….
Is WSG now the single security provider for the new terminal and as a minimum up to 2027?
Is the contracted fee altered as Wsg move from supplier to the Airport Authority to a sub contractor to Summa?
I do not accept the “nothing has changed” line as quite clearly the commercial and contractual landscape is very different….Summa have 25 years to get their money back and will forensically go through costs to make sure they rinse every single penny back and as quickly as possible.. paying pete shed loads to click passengers in will not go by without scrutiny…. and renegotiation as a minimum….Pete has lost “prime” status.. he is now a very very small fish in SL…. He will not like it because rubbing shoulders with government is what gets him up in the morning. B
Link says new airport terminal is open.
https://airlinergs.com/sierra-leone-president-opens-new-terminal-at-freetown-airport/
5 times the passengers each month expected…so who gets the fee?
Pete might know…. Pete might say…. One day soon
B
The contractual position is clearly not straightforward. The Wsg contract is for the old terminal and not the new one. The government appear to be considering using the old terminal for military purposes suggesting ALL passengers will go through the new terminal. Unless Wsg can novate their contract to cover the expansion, then they are fooked. I hypothesise that Wsg and summa are discussing/ negotiating on how a contractual relationship can be formed and quite clearly summa hold the strongest hand. If Pete has learned from TEMA, then we won’t get another “lions share” approach to future revenue. He is silent because it’s not going his way… why else is he silent?…..if it was “a slam dunk” that he would automatically hoover up ALL passengers, we would have learned ages ago…. We haven’t, and if the airport opens next month, then I think we will find out in the next few weeks… I would be amazed if he does “ a Tema” and provide a service during negotiation… for those that can remember that far back… it was a very foggy period, and Pete working at risk or “ on account” as he put it…. What we do know is that he remained very opaque for as long as he could once we had sussed that the rhetoric and the reality where way off….. Pete is good at that……. B
We shall see UT…. If it was that straightforward… ie “nothing changes” as stated on the video, I am convinced Pete would have shouted from the rooftops by now as it would suggest more revenue from the additional footfall through the terminal…. Pete has not really said a word… so why is that… also the video suggested that the “nothing changes” is underpinned by a commercial relationship forming between summa and Wsg…. And currently ( no RNS)…. there isn’t one…. Quiet is never a good thing when Pete is involved.. as we learnt from the Tema episode, he was on every podcast going when he won that… I can never forget the “pasty Pete” moment from the female interviewer….. we shall know soon enough…..B
Pete probably doing the numbers on how he can get paid for each member of the military that passes through the old airport when the new one opens…. Still no sign of what role Wsg have in the new airport… interesting how this news confirms a complete split in likely roles of the 2 airports…. And if true, then no passengers will be going through the old airport… so can Pete argue that his contract to 2027 still counts…. Coz if it doesn’t, then both his MSCs are in the bin….B
I am sure the airport fully opens by Easter. This only gives Pete another month to “be encouraged “ by summa to consummate a commercial relationship… I can only hope that we find out from Pete the end result before either summa or the SL government tell us….tick tock…
Also, pete pronounced that he was likely to kill the TEMA contract “early 2023”….. so I expect that news soon also…. Could be some squeaky bum times ahead…..B
Won’t be from this crowd…. Now I wonder who supplied the additional airport security equipment at the Freetown airport expansion….if Pete couldn’t get that contract being the incumbent supplier… then he’s fooked… I think he did another bare faced lie when he told shareholders that he would win that order… coz it’s in his contract I think he said….. guy is full of p00p……. But he will have to come out of his cave one day soon….B
I wonder if Pete can get to 12 months without an RNS on contract progress. lol…… already gone 4 months. B
I am unsure on petes strategy here… he knows ( as it happens all the time) a vacuum in news will create a downward drift in sp…. So why the silence?… why no “ on the cusp still” or words to that effect?….. struggling to understand why he still maintains his “ “I am a complete kn0b “ approach to business…. He never fails to astound…… B
Well…. It’s been exactly 4 months since Pete spoke about deals…. The only time he has come out of his cave was to confirm summa was now his prime contractor… we had already been informed the day before, so it wasn’t news at all….. So when will he tell us about DRC, MENA and the new MSC, you know… the ones that would all be over the line by Dec 31st 2022.
Should we welcome the silence… is Pete on the cusp of giving us mega news….?…. Well only another 10 months until year end… and we can all find 2 candles in June for the DRC/Liberia announcement birthdays….. lol…. Sad to see you go MT….another one bites the dust…..B
Well who would have thought Pete would go almost 4 months without an update on how wonderful everything was… in November, Pete said DRC… MENA and another substantial MSC would get over the line before year end….. did anyone check what year end he meant?…. B
Not a peep since Nov TU……There were going to be 3 big parties before 31 st Dec 2022….. we know non of them happened… is Pete planning more for 2023?…. I hope we all get invited. Has there been a longer period of silence in Wsg history .. no contracts of note for nearly 4 months….. must be something big brewing… other than petes cuppa that is …. B
Must be news due…. Peeps running away…..B
RHT… all you do is **** off the peeps on here rather than the content of their posts… why don’t you counter the negative by telling us all the positives…
I mean, anyone would start to think you are quite shallow… so come on… tell us about all the good things that Pete has done to make this a company worth investing in… I mean, the “ negative ninny “ seems to have a lot of content… so come on… start telling us why we should buy….B
Now one could wonder how a CEO could make such claims about prospective contract awards being so imminent ( and revenues just slipping in to 2023)…unless he was close enough to the negotiations.. and equally how getting all three completely wrong could occur with such intimacy to the action…. Unless of course he was making it up to bolster the share price or worse to bolster his credibility knowing that eventually he would be found out… I suppose after 10 years of similar actions and motivations, some of us are not surprised…..B
