I expect more than a merger for BOOM. If there is a big buyer in the background wanting a piece of BOOM is it to be ready for some buyout offer?

I followed both miri and bids and neither are the same model for ad placement.

Morbox posted the Edison video from July 2025. The contract negotiations were probably well advanced by then and TIG more than likely new Radix would transfer. You don't just shift 10M on a whim, there would have been to'ing and fro'ing a long while before the Tucows news just in case TIG responded with an ecen more attractive offer.

So, somehow I reckon this is not going to be a massive negative and winning it would have been a hit to margins anyway.

Walking away from bad business is no bad thing.

TCX have the hallmarks of making up lack of margin through more sales and don't worry about profitability, however, the parent has been on an efficiency drive and reducing headcount. Possibly through more automation and passing along the cost savings to win more business.

Not the end of the world but not ideal. Radix and Tucows didn't mention price but I think that is front and centre and there are limits below which business wouldn't make sense to win. If TIG had won there would still have been a hit to revenue and profit so this may be TIG showing pricing discipline and having a price red line.

TCX group has 1/2 billion $ of debt and is courting big operators ahead of the 2026 new-gTLD wave with scalability and helping reduce costs. They want to scale and have a track record of the group losing money. Just looks like a group that buys revenue. I reckon the price is very well below current price to TIG. Much lower.

Changing advisor won't make a difference if you don't have the revenue. Perhaps Cannacord are cheaper.

Nothing much changes until there is a weekly close over £5 and that could be a long time away.

I brought knowing it was partly partly speculation. It a much higher % speculation now, less of an investment. Until there is more clarity its an avoid imho.

A raise may be necessary, no guarantees of orders landing when they think but they have to live with the cash burn.
