Tests referred to for Coronavirus are to be LFD (Lateral flow ,ie strip colour showing type. )Which indeed was the 2016 venture target for the agreement below?
It would be nice to know where (if anywhere )affirmer technology has a part to play. My limited understanding is that affirmer use allows ready prep. ( cf antibody applications) and is a possible application.

2016 note on partnering article ( para3 below)refers to LFD testing joint objective. So if this is correct , it’s poss. that the Mologic test developed is affirmer based .
The speed of development defers also.

Confounded, yes could well be the case. The company will no doubt communicate if such an important application comes to fruition.
Marvellous to be investing in this company and supporting it’s objectives albeit indirectly.

Type of strip flow test in channel 4 item, looks like agreement objective ( see below).
Perhaps Avacta Mologic will reveal all next week?

Mologic developed Zika testing amongst others? Not much else in public domain.
Certainly affirmers have/ are contenders in place of antibodies in a test regime.
